With a capacity of 138 guests, and a series of cutting-edge amenities, the Emerald Liberté represents the next generation of river cruising. The suites, staterooms and public spaces are set across four beautifully-appointed decks – providing endless scope for relaxation and excitement whilst cruising the rivers Rhône & Saône.

The Mediterranean climate provided by the southern reaches of France provides the perfect opportunity to enjoy the open-air amenities of the Sun Deck. The top deck of the Emerald Liberté is blessed with a large area to sit back and relax, enjoy a barbecue with new friends or sink a few balls on the putting green. And the retractable glass roof winds back to reveal the swimming pool, so you can enjoy the gentle river breeze blow through your hair as you complete a few pre-breakfast laps.

 

The Emerald Liberté has been meticulously designed and built to provide the future of river cruising - luxurious and comfortable passage aboard an attractive, contemporary vessel. Employing the knowledge of skilled, experienced interior design teams have created a river cruise ship which tastefully echoes the spirit of the southern French countryside through which the Emerald Liberté will navigate.

After a day spent exploring the delights of the destinations you visit along France’s waterways, you’ll return to relax in plenty of space and complete comfort - whether that’s sinking into a soft armchair or enjoying the fresh air from your balcony.

Watch the sun rise in the morning, or dusk fall in the evening and enjoy a cool drink as the river’s picturesque landscapes glide by. Perfect your technique on the putting green. Take a dip in the swimming pool’s sparkling waters. Or simply lie back and relax on your sun lounger. However you choose to spend your time on the Sun Deck, you’ll quickly realize that river cruising really is the most enjoyable way to travel.

Just like a deluxe hotel, if you’d like to indulge in a bit of pampering you can always take advantage of the massage and relaxation area. Emerald Liberte also features exercise machines so you can continue with your normal work out regime.

 

With French gastronomy now featured on the UNESCO World Heritage list, you’ll be taken on a journey of delectable discovery as you sample some of the region’s famous foods and specialty dishes during your river cruise. And with so many ripe vineyards rippling along the river banks, you can enjoy the variety of wines that make up France’s signature flavors.

On board, you’ll have full access to a Wellness area, complete with massage services and a hair salon, a gym, special on board entertainment, Wi-Fi internet, electric bicycles and of course luxuriously appointed suites to retire to at the end of the day.

The Scenic Ruby features outdoor balconies that convert into all-weather Scenic ‘Sun-Lounges’, newly designed guest rooms with 32-inch, flat screen, high definition televisions as well as six onboard dining restaurants. Even the bar in the main lounge is made from sophisticated Port Laurent marble. On the Scenic Ruby we are delighted to offer the additional choice of a spacious Deluxe Balcony Suite. Located in prime locations at the front of the ship, these suites offer all the features of our private Balcony Suites, with even more space to relax.
