PRE-TOUR INFORMATION
SOUTHERN FRANCE & PROVENCE WIMS RIVER CONFERENCE 2025
Dear Guests:
We are excited to have you as our guest on our upcoming Rhone CME River Conference. We have put together the following information to give you an idea of the next steps needed to get ready for your cruise, including some required information.
A detailed tour packet web link will be sent to you approximately 3 weeks prior to embarkation with detailed information including packing list, updated itinerary, arrival and departure instructions, and ship information.
 
Next Steps
Now that you have registered for your cruise, you will have received your updated invoice and attached Terms & Conditions contract. We will be sending an electronic cruise contract via DocuSign for you to complete to the main participants email that you have registered with. One contract will have space for both cabin occupants to electronically sign.
*Please note: The CME River Conference DocuSign Terms & Conditions contract must be signed and received within 14 days of registration or reservation may be subject to cancellation. All participants 18 years of age and over must sign to be confirmed on and participate in the tour program. Parent’s signature will cover children’s participants under the age of 18.

To make the passenger information process a bit easier, we have automated our system using a dedicated online client portal. Each individual passenger will be able to access their online portal (one per passenger) by clicking on the Client Portal button on the top right-hand side of the CME River Conference home page or clicking here:

Special requests. *Please note we will attempt to accommodate special requests to the best of our abilities. There are no guarantees that we can accommodate some requests, so it is best you speak to a CME River Conference representative before going over your specific needs. Special request information must be received no later than 6 weeks prior to departure.
If guests are having trouble navigating the portal or are not proficient, you may also send the information to our email at, info@cmeriverconference.com and we can upload the information on your behalf.
CME Registration
For those guests interested in participating in the onboard CME Program (total CME credits:  maximum of 5.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™) and have not added it during initial registration, please contact us so we may add you to the program.

Embarkation & Disembarkation Information
Embarkation March 29, 2025 Lyon
Clients will be able to check-in and board in Lyon beginning at 15:30. Guest who arrive earlier may leave their luggage at reception beginning at 11:00 but will not be able to check-in or receive their cabin until 15:30. Lyon airport (LYS) is about a 25-minute transfer to the dock. Group transfers at designated times on day of embarkation are included in the price of your tour; paid private airport meet & transfers are also available for a fee. All guests should arrive at Lyon by 14:30. Embarkation is scheduled for 17:00.
Private Transfers: Those interested in their own private transfers to the ship via car service or taxi please note the ship will be centrally located next to the central train station. Address details of the ship will be available in your tour packet. It is approximately a 25-minute ride from the airport to the boat.
Please tell us: Guests must inform us if of their flight schedule and if they are interested in the group transfer no later than 4 weeks before arrival. Those guests arriving prior to the day of embarkation can easily take a local taxi from their hotel to the ship.
Disembarkation April 5, 2025 Arles
Group airport transfers will be arranged according to flight departures. Please note the boat is scheduled to arrive to Arles the day before disembarkation, on April 4, for a full day of city touring. You will be informed the night before of your specific transfer time with your bags tagged accordingly. Group transfer will take place at approximately 9:30 am to Marseille airport. If you have an early morning or late day departure that require taking a private (at your own expenses) transfer or taxi from the ship to the airport, you may have the option (depending on the boat schedule) of leaving your luggage onboard and exploring more of Arles on your own, then returning to the ship to collect your luggage and meet or arrange your airport transfer on your own or with the ship directly.
TRAVEL INSURANCE IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
We strongly encourage you to purchase travel protection when traveling with CME River Conferences, especially in today’s world. Should you choose to travel on CME River Conferences without travel insurance coverage, you will need to acknowledge your agreement to take full responsibility for all expenses (trip interruption, trip delay, medical expenses, and quarantine).

General Interest
CME River Conferences recommended sightseeing on your own before or after the cruise:
Those guests arriving earlier in the day or days before embarkation we recommend some of the following options in Lyon.
Bellecour Square: The ship is centrally located close to the central city area of Bellecour Square which include hotels and shopping.
Paris: Guests interested in visiting Paris before or after the cruise it is a 2-hour journey by high-speed train or one hour flight. The Lyon Central Train Station is a 10-minute taxi ride to the boats docking station.
