Itinerary Changes: You can count on KTreks experience and regional knowledge to make sure you enjoy your cruise/tour even when conditions beyond our control occur. The very nature of a river, its sources, and networks of bridges and locks, means that there will be times when weather or other conditions in a region require KTreks to make adjustments and/or modifications to an itinerary. Although every effort will be made to keep itineraries, vessels, and hotels as they are shown in the brochure, KTreks Inc. reserves the right to substitute itineraries, hotels, or vessels. In such cases, we will do everything we can to make sure the locations visited, the excursions taken, and the hotels or vessels offered are similar to the ones originally planned. Any changes to itineraries will not result in eligibility for a refund. Itineraries are subject to change without notice and may need to be altered specifically because of water levels, wind factors, or other conditions. Guests who choose to cancel or interrupt their cruise or cruise/tour due to an itinerary change will be subject to our standard Cancellation Policy.

Passenger Code of Conduct

Land Touring:  During all land tours it is the guest’s responsibility to stay with the group. While visiting ancient villages and cities it is important to stay together as a group as winding passages and small streets can make it very easy to get separated. If a guest wants to walk around on his or her own, spend additional time at specific points of interest, shop, or in any other way separate from their group, it is the guest’s responsibility to inform the tour leader that they plan to leave the group and tell the tour leader that they will return to the ship or bus on their own at the designated time.  If the guest does not return to the bus or meeting point at the designated time, it is then their responsibility to return to the ship on their own prior to the ship’s departure time which is published in the daily schedule left each night in your cabin. The schedule of our ships is highly structured and cannot, nor will not wait for any guest who is not on board at the scheduled departure time. If a guest misses a departure, it is the guest’s personal and financial responsibility to meet the ship at its next port of call.

Guest Behavior:  We require all guests to treat fellow guests, KTreks staff, and ship’s staff with dignity and respect.  If a problem arises, your staff will do its best to resolve it.  Guests will be expected to conduct themselves in a mature manner while the problem is being addressed.   Guests who do not conduct themselves in an appropriate and mature manner and become physically or verbally abusive (to guests or staff) will be asked to leave the cruise at their own expense.

Passenger Acceptance of Code of Conduct: Payment of deposit and/or signature of the KTreks DocuSign Terms and Conditions, passenger understands the contents and legal ramifications of this agreement and is a legally binding and enforceable contract and electronically accept it of their own free will.
